Wouldn't it be cool if FS allows us to specify failures and the probabilies for each failure? Well LockOn has a list of, if I remember it corrently, around 15 failures. You can specify the chances of their happenings. If you want to turn them off, you specify 0%. I think this gives a more immersive experience.

Donny AKA ShalomarFly 2 ROCKS!!!There's always getting on FSNet so you can have really intelligent unexpected failures at the worst possible time or mapping the fuel valves to your keyboard so a diabolical "friend" in the same room can generate your failures....Are there options to set flight regime parameters? So I can minimise the chance I'll have an innocuous chance of an engine failure taxiing and more chance I might have to make critical decisions.I've had zero failures from the default with "random failures" selected. Does it work?

X-Plane has an excellent failure module that allows you to set the speed, time or altitude of a number of failures. For a truly exciting time set an engine to fail in a twin at just a knot or two above V1 and have a fun time hopping on the rudder pedals.Regards..BeachAV8R

Yeah it works. However, I suspect that the high-end aircraft that effectively bypass FS facilities to accurately simulate systems will not work (or those aspects will not work) for that reason. I imagine this problem would common across all failure generator utilities.
