Can these changes be made on the fly? Or following a position reset or does P3D need to be restarted in order to see the changes?

Thanks , just one issue I have , it's the cloud.fx file I get error saying it's not the original, when trying to apply , not sure where the original cloud.fx would have been backed up to, have been using RSP & Rex

 

Edit: Fixed by going into Rex & restore default cloud shader.

Just a question, when you say you went into REX, do you mean going to REX installation folder and looked for the Backup folder?, or did you use the UI?.

Unfortunately not. P3D need to be restarted after applying tweaks

That would be in REX gui Ed - there is a restore default cloud shader button
