.......well, that's because, just like FSX/P3D, the default scenery isn't so fantastic out of the box. :smile:

 

So, if you're trying X-Plane 10 for the first time, here's what to do :-

 

Go to this website, and download the (free) photoscenery tiles for the Canary Isles (Canarias) - shown in the bottom right corner of the grid of Spain):-

.....at the same website, also download the Coastline download for the Canaries. (at the bottom left of the screen)

 

Now, go to this website:-   http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/

 

(registration needed to download files), and enter

 

....and enter these ICAO codes into the SEARCH box, and download (free) airports for:-

 

GCTS
GCTN
GCLP
GCLA
GCLP
GCHI
GCFV

 

.....that gives you Super HD photoreal scenery for the Spanish Canary Isles (comes with high definition mesh too), and 7 airports to fly between.
