Milviz and Aerosoft Involved with Aerofly FS2?

Recommended Posts

Hmm, i assume Switzerland is the scenario they had for Aerofly fs 1. Do we know if it's gonna be a payware DLC?

Yes, should be the same, and apparently it's going to be a free download.

Nope. $10

Due to licensing issues, this DLC will not be free, but we will make a special $10 price during the Early Access phase. We hope this is an 'acceptable' price. Once you see the detail level of this DLC you will hopefully be convinced.

But don't worry you will see more airplanes and regions for free in the future. We made this DLC due to popular request from existing Aerofly FS 1 users.

We will probably publish it in a few hours.

For the record.....one or two texture adjustments are required to the coastline in the "glider" section of that video.

Wouldn't it be nice if LR, LM, Aerofly, DTG all combined forces to produce a new simulator from scratch?  :)  ... and then I woke up ...

I salute this one, happens to me quite often.

I would need a new SSD just for Aerofly at this pace :-)

Looks great from the shots!

Amazing price too!

Smaller than I thought it would be ... hmmm, might just be able to do entire globe in less than 1000 TB (1 PB).

Cheers, Rob.

I don't think we need 1000 TB drives. It would be nice to have the whole world at our disposal, however, I regularly fly VFR in P3D in not more than 1% of the world, probably much less (of course depending on where good VFR scenery is available). A modular approach should be appropriate, something like XP does, but perhaps more fine-grained.

Now, if they could somehow sneak Denmark in there or better, Scandinavia, I'd be all over it. Looks beautiful.

I doubt we'll get regions like this one in quick succession. Switzerland was a port from AeroflyFS1, and the Southern California Region was developed over years in parallel with the mobile version.

IPACS may be in a position to - perhaps - provide more photo areas, however airports, landmarks etc will probably have to come from 3rd parties (or automatically generated from a database - not sure if IPACS and/or their customers want this). I guess we'll kindly have to ask our beloved addon-developers to contribute.

Kind regards, Michael
