WHQL 368.22 is actually a great driver for P3dv 3.2.3

Recommended Posts

Wow, really!!  DDU is so easy to use, one can only wonder why everybody wouldn't use it every time an nVidia driver upload is sought...

How can you roll it back when you use driver cleaner which totally wipes every bit of your current driver off your harddrive?

Hi Bob:

What I meant is that you can always roll-back or reinstall an old driver by running the setup again from C:\NVidia folder in your computer, selecting the proper driver setup file. All drivers previously installed in your machine are stored there.

Ed

Sweet driver - 2X970S SLI, FSX DX10 WSTEVESFIXES, 4K 55OLED.  Probably the only driver I've seen in recent history that appears to have made an improvement.  Also with a new Microsoft Flight Simulator 10 profile.

Still use NI with 8xS Combined AA and 4x Sparse Grid Supersampling.

cheers

Have you tested it in heavy weather conditions, clouds, etc.?

I think more because the fact that you simply don't need to. If it's something you want to do with each Nvidia driver install, then have at it. Each to their own, but it's not a necessity.

I agree this is a sweet driver for FSX. I have a GTX970 4GB with an i7-3770 OC'd and it is the first driver that has given me a noticeable performance boost.

I just flew the iFly 737 NG into heavy weather, on descent to Fly Tampa YSSY and the rig ate it for breakfast.

I don't know what Nvidia did, and reading the brochure does not give a clue, but something was done!

Just remember if you use NI to save your current NIP file. Open that file in notepad and change its name to Microsoft Flight Simulator 10. Then once you have loaded the new driver, delete the old MS Flight Simulator X profile, AND the new Microsoft Flight Simulator 10 profile.

Then import your edited one with the new name.

Job done!

I usually don't have issues with clouds anymore but will give it a test.

Good driver, same perf as 361.43 at least !

However I suffered a TDR after 5 hours in-flight. Still investigating. Wasn't caused by the performance mode which was set to Maximum.

However my PhysX settings were reverted back to Auto instead of GPU, not sure if that could be a cause.

I downloaded DDU he my to uninstall the former pilots in mode without failure, I am going to install the last pilot of Nvidia to make a new test, if I always have a loss of FPS I would return has a former pilot of Nvidia

This driver is one of the best yet and I have tried tons - suggest trying this one for sure if you haven't - nicer looking shine on aircraft and anti aliasing is definitely improved and smoother sim - good stuff

Not at home - search I have posted it somewhere - basically 4x SGSS in NI

Better yet here is the file and in P3D no FSAA - MSAA 4X - ANTISTROPIC 4X - 2048 X 2048 Textures - unlimted frames - vsync on - your monitor may be different
