Control settings location in P3D- file location

Recommended Posts

Somehow some of my control settings in P3D have reverted to default settings since last night. I have everything backed up on a backup drive, but I need to know exactly where these settings are stored, so I can copy and paste the backup file.

You just import the saved controls file in your buttons section of your controllers menu in P3D

Ah, never even noticed that menu item in teh controllers menu. I found where these settings are saved finally, on my backup drive. Users/appdata/roaming/LM/V3/controls.    I just saved them now in the controllers menu which is much easier.   Thanks.

Welcome Bob - P3D controllers is a bit wacky fyi - have had issues - things get reset - doesnt import correctly - stuff like that - so i make multiple versions of my exported controllers - different ones for different aircraft much like ezca - have to live with I guess
