Can´t turn Gyropilot or Altitude Control on

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am not able to interact with the Gyro Pilot and Altitude Control switches of the Autopilot. I can turn the AP on and off and twist the little Aileron knob between the buttons, but nothing happens if I click them.

Anyone having the same issue?

UPDATE:  Reseted the flight, and on the ground I am able to turn on the Gyropilot, but not the Altitude Control. Perhaps that issue is related to my bad understanding of this aircraft systems?

Thanks

Thiago Braun

Basically:

1. Make sure the turning knob is centered.

2. Make sure the autopilot selector knob is on the gyro mode (far left).

3. Engage the gyro

4. Engage the mechanical lever.

That should work if I read this correctly.

Thanks! I think I managed to get it working. Sometimes the buttons wont turn on. Perhaps it is something related to the AFE.

No offense, but this is most likely. See the Intro Manual for details.

Kyle OT but are you guys planning on providing a "from the factory" version of the DC-6 in the future or no? Basically a version of the DC-6 as it would have been brand new back in the 50's. Just asking because those nicely modelled comm switches in the center console sure seem wasted ;)

I don't believe it is in the plans.

+1 for this feature.
