Quality Wings 787 in action. FlightSimCon 2016

Recommended Posts

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. I'm assuming you shot the video. What's your perspective on the quality of the plane? Obviously it's a work in progress but it looks way more in depth than their 757(which is fantastic too). Looking forward to this one.

Looks nice.

I hate to be the kill-joy here, but I'm not impressed with the cockpit graphics in this video.  To me, the graphics look very cartoonesque, not realistic at all.  The cockpit graphics with PMDG, A2A and Carenado products are much more realistic.  Just one man's opinion, but it's what I see here.

Thanks to David though for posting the video.

You realize that isn't the end product? Its a beta or alpha. They don't have the final graphics at that point. Its more about everything else. I will hold judgement until see the final product. I must admit I didn't have high hopes since their 757 wasn't great. This looks way more in depth. I mean the 757 didn't even have taxi lights it was landing lights or nothing.

As someone who works on the 787 in real life I have too say to my eyes it looks pretty accurate. Tim have you ever been on a real 787 flight deck? Were i have my reservations is on the system modelling, as to me thats what it's all about :) But I gotta say well done to Quality Wings from what I've seen looks pretty good.

Cheers

This looks like it was recorded with a cell phone. Its not direct internal recording so its going to display differently then what one sees. You can see its often over exposed because of the background and or overhead lighting. I think it looks great. The screenshots that were shown months ago also look fantastic.

As its a recording of a computer screen, it naturally wont look sharp and will look remarkably flat compared to the real experience of looking at it on screen.

Let me guess.... you want 64bit.

I think they stripped away all of the eye candy in fsx and it wasn't running at native screen resolution. That's why.

And yes, I recorded it with my galaxy s6. Tried first at 4k. Silly file size.

Thanks for the clarification David.  Sorry if I jumped to conclusions, but I saw what I saw.  We'll all look forward to better graphics when the product is released..............................maybe someday???

Major items are done. I think it's the fine details now. Making everything work nicely together, sound and look good.
