VAInterface 2.20.3 IXEG not working?

Recommended Posts

I thought the new VAInterface 2.20.3 release supported the IXEG 737 and x737?   Most functions don't work. Just the knobs to control COURSE, IAS, HDG, ALT.

EFIS not working at all,  F/D switches not working, A/T Arm switch not working, MCP back lighting not working. None of the MCP buttons seem to work.

Before I used the new interface I uninstalled the old VAInterface via add remove programs in Windows 10. I then deleted the installation folder. I re-booted the PC and installed  VAInterface 2.20.3.

All most nothing works.

Using Win 10

IXEG737 v 1.0.5

XP10 v 10.45

I have similar issues using X737 V5.0.1.

-

MCP the following functions can be commanded by VA MCP:

- CRS

- IAS/MACH

- HDG

ALT cannot be commanded, but when it is changed in the sim the new value is displayed in VA MCP.

No other functions on the VA MCP work.

-

EFIS

- setting Baro pressure is the only function working.

-

Before I used the new interface I uninstalled the old VAInterface via add remove programs in Windows 8.1.

Win 8.1

X737 5.0.1

XP10 v 10.45

Mine is all fixed thanks to the fast reply I got via email from VA.  You have to start X-Plane and the VAInterface.  When everything it loaded right lick on the VAInterface Icon and choose control Panel. Next choose Edit and choose the aircraft from the pull down list. Then save.  Should work now. Mine does.

Hi,

That's correct. To solve this you just need to go to the Control Panel on the VAInterface and select the right airplane profile.

Thanks,

Helton
