Flight1 GTN 750 System Requirements for FSX

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks ,

I'm thinking about the purchase of  Flight1 GTN 750 for FSX.

My config: i5-750/3.3GHz(OC), 4Gb 1333MHz RAM, AMD 4980/1Gb Graphic card.

Will there be enough power for this software ?

I read that the requirement is 8Gb Ram, but I don't want to buy any new hardware now.

Thanx

You'll get a number of opinions, but your best bet is to believe every word the developer writes with regard to system requirements.  There is a reason they write them.

Believe them. Don't buy it. 4GB isn't enough memory.   -   Doug

I am running similar to your specs and don't have any problems. Note that even without the GTN I would have to watch my settings, but again, I am happy. The GTN is a must have in my opinion.

Go buy the GTN. It's a masterpiece, a must have!. Think also in increasing your RAM anyway.

Hello,

The best thing that you can do is test this on your own, download the free PC Trainer from the Flight1 sales website. Then run it alongside FSX, while in flight, with your regular flying conditions.

If you do not get any performance or memory problems, then you can purchase the Flight1 GTN.

Hmm, if I'm correct the 'demo' is an actual Garmin product which means it may not replicated the GTN performance requirements.

Agree, GTN is basic, hugely wonderful.
