Vertical Profile

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have programmed the FMC on a PMDG 737NGX-800 to fly from Phoenix to Las Vegas.

Next I had a problem with VNAV disconnecting shortly after take-off (it would arm on the ground). I checked that the cruise page was executed, all looks normal I guess. I than checked the vertical profile and noticed the flat horizontal line, with no climb or descent. The Autopilot will engage ALTHLD in the FMA pitch mode. Any ideas out there.

Here is the screenshot of the FMC and the ND with vertical flight path.

Also is there a way that I can step through the legs page (plan mode) after the route is activated and executed?

Thanks

Juergen

I figured it out.

The MCP altitude was restricting the programmed FMC altitude and therefore VNAV would not engage or climb past the MCP altitude.

Also, this topic should be in /commercial/pmdg/pmdg 737ngx.

Sorry
