Ha !!! I knew immediately where this is ... especially picture 4 ... because I am currently there myself. Actually only virtually :smile:, namely on my Alaskan roundtrip, see here - pictures 13-15. It's Valdez (sorry for hijacking your thread :wink:).

 

Nice pictures and lets me want to continue my trip (If I only had the time ...)

I love being based in PAVD, for Alaska discovery flights.  Great location; you can head west towards Anchorage and Kenai/Homer, East down the pan handle to Juneau, or north towards the flatlands of Gulkana and Fairbanks. :smile:
