The freeware Dubai airport I have, not to mention stock FSX:SE Dubai leave quite a bit to be desired, but hey, I'm on a budget :D Nice shots HL!

Colours of the desert!

Indeed, these colours are unbelievable!

I plan a quite similar flight (to Khartoum instead of Cairo), and I'm eager to compare with a landclass scenery. But I think that particularly for these desert colours a phototerrain is unbeatable.

but hey, I'm on a budget

Mark, if your budget is exactly big enough for just one payware scenery, then this Dubai scenery is a hot candidate.

Excellent shots...Colours of the desert!

Thanks for commenting....the color comes from erosion of igneous rock!

Appreciate the comment....RealWorld scenery now developing HD photo in the UAE.

Many thanks for commenting....The Sahara is a hot spot so lots of volcanic activity. Massive accumulations of dunes called Ergs never got washed away by ice age floods..

Big thanks for commenting....airport is Fly Tampa Dubai....Sim Savvy long time out of business...Sat Africa was never marketable!
