Fun and challenging times with the 727

Recommended Posts

Since I bought this 727 on Friday I had dozens of crashes, stalls and mechanical failures. This is surely an aircraft that  needs constant monitoring and it can be quite challenged to manage everything alone, considering the real one has a crew of three pilots.

That being said, I think I've finally gotten the hang of it and can start to enjoy this beautiful beast!

Here are some pic that I took in the last weekend!

Great shots! I'll be picking her up as soon as I get a chance.

Just to avoid confusion, which developer designed that B727??

Thank you, sir.

I like planes with some realism... I'll google that company.

EDIT:  it's only for X-Plane  ... I'm a FSX and P3D user  :fool:

How do you do that?

Especially the cockpit shots look very crisp. Do you have to do something special, to achieve this?

Yes, forgot to mention, sorry. I am also a P3D user and I must tell you that there is no better time to try X-Plane than now. There is a Steam Sale going on and the amount of quality addons released recently for the platform is astounding. Try it out and you won´t be disappointed.

Well I broke the flaps because I exceeded the maximum allowed speed for them. I also managed to destroy the APU using incorrect startup procedures and damage the landing gear during approach. You need to be really careful with this puppy...

Regarding the pictures, they are completely unedited. In terms of plugins I am using RTH and BluFX (this one is not well know but it makes the sim look much better). The lightning on X-Plane is also way better than P3D and that surely helps. Perhaps the resolution that I am running the sim (3440x1440) also has something to do with it!
