Thinking of getting GTX1080 SLI

Recommended Posts

Would there be enough of a benift in P3dv3 or Xplane to justify the cost of two of these cards?

IF you have multiple monitors or large screen (resolution wise) then yeah..Otherwise ...not sure..It depends on what you are upgrading from. and your current PC

I've got two MSI 1080's gaming x a couple of days ago, so far a single gtx 1080 is way better than 2 way SLI in P3D. I wasted my money so don't waster your money and get a single gtx 1080

SLI is often not worth the effort or money. VR demands might be a different story, not sure, I don't own one.

SLI is mostly pointless for these flight sims. I even removed my second 980 Ti as it provides no benefit. It adds a bit of extra latency, increases power usage and heats up the room faster which isn't very attractive in the summer.
