I actually see a good use for adding these to the file library--the files are small, even smaller when zipped. Moreover, there's many who don't fly the jets because they feel uncomfortable, but would love to experience a jet flight. With this tool, you can record start to finish a jet flight, which not only allows for someone to "go along for the ride" but also allows them to observe climb, cruise, descent and approach procedures and the various throttle/control settings used. Thus they may be able to learn something by what they see as well as passively enjoying the ride. This tool looks like it will be a permanent feature of FS9 and adds functionality we haven't seen done this well since FS98.-John

Another added benefit: Looking at the video, the "student" can jump in the left seat at any time during the approach, hit ESC, and then fly the aircraft from eg. final approach to brakes without managing the full approach. I really love this feature about the video function, and it is a fine alternative to the static saved flights.-Dasher7

Don't know if this will work with this new tool. When I hit "Esc" during the video, I return to the destination and am paused, not to the point in flight where I hit "Esc".-John

Wow--that would be a great feature, especially if you had the option of hitting "esc" without the sim pausing. It could be used as a tool to train pilots on the same approach in differing weather conditions, for example-John
