PMDG 777 Weather Radar

Hello,

 

I just rechecked my sim and found out that I do have SP1d and should be able to access weather radar. But I am unsure of how to do this. It would be wonderful if someone could help me out. Is ActiveAkyNext mandatory to use PMDG 777 WXRadar?

Yes it is. An explanation of the Weather Radar starts on page 154 of the 777 Introduction Manual.
