VoxATC crashing with Aerosoft A319 at approach

Recommended Posts

Not sure why, but when I try to fly an ILS approach flight plan without vector by ATC, it crashes all the time with my Airbus. I'm using SimBrief to put together my flight plan and downloading it in the correct format for my FS and Airbus. Doesn't happen with my NGX or J41.

Can you have a look in the event viewer and tell us, what exactly is crashing the sim?

Well, today I checked and tried again, but this time I was flying from Kansas City to Fort Worth. Followed the flight plan on the Airbus, and for that matter, so did VoxATC. However, as I was getting to and pass the top of descent, the aircraft auto pilot was screaming for me to decelerate, and that it was time for me to start descending to my next step down altitude, but ATC wouldn't have it! I would request descent for ILS approach, and it would constantly say, "unable at this time" I wanted to see how far it would take to have me descent, and I knew I wasn't going to make the flight level for my ILS approach. It started to vector me to the left to the right, so on and so on. By the time it tells me to call the tower and maintain a flight level of 2,500 until established on the localizer, it was already on top of the airport, and I was still at 9,000 feet! I had to fly the aircraft manually pass the go around heading, turn around as I kept descending, and connected with the ILS approach again. Then and only then I was given the clearance for landing on runway 17R at KDFW. Not until I made this manual maneuver, was I able to get the aircraft to autoland perfectly. The aircraft did it's job, so it's not the Aerosoft Airbus. The airport is by FSDreamteam, no problem with the runway AFCAD, and VoxATC was running the same flight plan that was loaded on to the FMS. I've kept VoxATC up to date, have ran the runway number update to make sure it's up to date with Navigraph AIRAC current cycle, so what gives? That's my question...

I'm done, three times and your out, I always say. It happened again, and I've been happy with VoxATC up to this point, but it has its limitations. I'm moving on to VATSIM, nothing beats the real thing short of flying a real aircraft.
