This DLC for Aerofly FS 2 features over 30 of the best known airports of Switzerland, including Zürich, Grenchen, Samedan and Birrfeld. Furthermore this DLC features high resolution aerial images of Switzerland with a resolution of up to 1 meter.

Due to licensing issues, this DLC will not be free, but we will make a special $10 price during the Early Access phase. We hope this is an 'acceptable' price. Once you see the detail level of this DLC you will hopefully be convinced.

But don't worry you will see more airplanes and regions for free in the future. We made this DLC due to popular request from existing Aerofly FS 1 users.

We will probably publish it in a few hours.

Now I thought the OS recommendations were just that: Recommendations. As long as you are 64bit, I suspect it would work just fine.

I have Aerofly FS1 running quite well at about 48 fps. Could I expect something near that for Aerofly FS2?

It's 10 €. That's licensing cost, as imagery was licensed for AeroflyFS1 originally, obviously under different conditions than AeroflyFS2 imagery. IPACS did the port on request of many users, and I personally don't have a problem with this. (And no, I am not rich.)
