What a beautiful landscape!

 

It really is, despite being incredibly inhospitable and arid. I have a few books of ariel and satellite photography, but its often HL's varied photoscenery shots that bring home what amazing topography there is out there, even in what many would assume to be barren and featureless place.

What a beautiful landscape!

Thanks very much....iron oxide produces red sand and ryolite produces yellow sand, the dark rock is igneous rock!

Appreciate the comment....phoney scenery renders deserts as featureless....the photoscenery shows what is really there!
