Hi all:

Nvidia released the 368.81 video driver on July 14, 2016. Anyone who has updated to this video driver want to share any experience here?.

Cheers, Ed

I always use the latest driver whenever I reinstall Windows, which I do around 2 to 4 times a year, and I never notice any real difference so I am sure these new drivers will be fine too.  I have yet to see a new nVidia driver that makes an obvious difference (positive or negative) in my flightsim.

Pretty much the same. There were a few releases quite a while back that broke terrain rendering with tessellation in P3D, but since that was corrected I've seen no change either way. So, the 368.81's are running fine here.

And let me add that in other cases, like the previous 361.XX/362.XX series (don't remember well if in both or in one of them), there were problems associated to long pauses in sim (P3Dv3.1-v3.2) mainly when rendering clouds.

That's the correct question. It seems to me that, from others opinions, there is not a noticeable difference, if any, between this new driver and its immediate predecessors.

I can't say I suffered from this, and I always adopt each new driver. It might have been assosiated with certain cards, or other hardware combinations.

If you're are using P3D or FSX only, then there is probably little to no advantage in updating. If you run other games, and certainly the most recent titles, as I often do, then there are specific optimizations that will impact on those titles. There is a chance optimization not targeted at FS may still have some benefit, but its unlikely to be anything transforming.

Months ago it was a post from Pete Downson, creator of FSUIPC, here at Avsim, in which he mentioned that its relatively long pauses of the sim (he was running P3Dv3.2) were caused by one specific 361.XX driver, as I remember.

I am changing  opinion,  I noticed that this driver  will not accept my nvidia inspector any longer, I didn;t realized that my sim antialiasing got screw up.  Has anyone here noticed  that? if not check in sim if things look different.

No issue here. There is also a hotfix driver available which is newer, 368.95. I wouldn't install it unless the hotfix applies to your situation.
