PMDG 747 Cruise speed problem. FSX

Recommended Posts

Hi, Recently ive been flying in the PMDG 747, Everything works as it should except once I reach my cruise altitude (on the last ocation was 34000ft) with the autothrottle and autopilot set and engaged my speed began to decrease close to stall speed. To resolve this I had to disengage the autothrottle and manualy apply full power.

I havent been able to find a way of stopping this, im not sure if i have programed the FMC incorectly or if there is a bug withIthe aircraft.

I am still relatively new to the PMDG 747 as I fly the PMDG 737ngx far more so it is likely I have programed something incorectly but im not sure what.

Thank you

Added Information: this problem doesnt seem to happen when using the speed hold button, only the Vnav

FSX turbulence, or improper wind simulation. What weather program are you using?

Make sure to tick the "disable turbulence effects on aircraft" box.
