LOD distance in miles?

As I'm never going back to FSX as my major flight simulator, I'm happy with the hard limit LOD...

 

Resolution up to 4K.

I have my fps set 30 plus TBM is 30 also.it isn't a lag in loading textures as i can sit there for 15 minutes and it stays the same.this is to do with the hardcoded limit.

funny enough i can now see this in screenshots,where there is a blurry line in the distance.i suppose this is as good as it gets,so no point in upgrading my hardware.

Hmm. Has anyone tried setting the tesselation to low during photoscenery?

 

I must admit that i am also struggling but found improvement doing so.
