current specs  i7 4790k @4.5 gtx 970  pny ddr 3 2400mhz ssd 840    monitor resolution asus 2560x1440   main sim fsx   ,     upgrade to 980 ti   or 1070 future plan 4k resolution    tv or monitor. what you think guys GTX 980TI OR 1070 thanks..

Both cards are good go the cheaper route if you need to save money, or future proof your computer with the 1070

What sort of performance are you getting at the moment?

With FSX there is a chance neither of those cards will really make a difference.

Also how soon to go 4K? If six months or so might be better to hold off on the card until then too.
