I am waiting for 6 years, now I will wait few Days for release...I am very excited about the imminent release of A320X.

I'll join the watch when they announce it's 48 hours to release.

 

Then we'll still have to wait for:

 

- The initial release period is over (i don't know why they do this, most problems will surface on the mass release date);

- The FSX release;

- The initial release period for P3D (same as above, i am a developer, this is a waste of time);

- The P3D release (maybe in 2017 by the look of things).

 

I hope i'm not being too pessimistic, but i sincerely can't see this A320 in P3D in 2016.

Well, that may be - but I too, have my doubts that we'll see this in P3D in 2016 ... 

(Judging, that they've been "close to release" for so long... )

If the fsx version works well out of the gate - not use why it would take till next year - no big deal aerosoft version is a great product by the way does not have a P3D specific version ans works fine  :wink:

As much as I'm anticipating this, I don't want to get excited about it because we're still several months away from a P3D release.  It's just like that DA/Aerosoft CRJ I've been wanting for what, 5 years now.

Is Digital Aviation even still around?  I absolutely loved their Piper Cheyenne and Do-27.  Never bought the Fokker for some reason.  I actually liked the Trimble in the Cheyenne and everyone hated it.  That aircraft was so nice.  Shame it won't work in FSX:SE :-(

I am going to buy only the p3d version. I still use fsx, because I can't afford the PMDG NGX and 777 for P3D prices. But heading to the future I think P3D is the best option for flight simming, all the bug fixes and memory management is better. Hopefully if this gets released for fsx, the p3d version comes this fall. I don't see on the product page, do you get both versions for one price? or is it separate? From today I plan on only buying P3D versions of airplanes if they do not give the same pricing for fsx/p3d. saving up for the PMDG 747 for P3D not going to buy for fsx like I did for the ngx and 777.

I think they want a stable platform. Nothing could be more code stable than FSX Acceleration ( boxed ) , or at most FSX:SE... 

 

I can't even imagine the complexity going behind the scenes to implement such a complex aircraft so... every "address" should be right where it is supposed to be... simconnect must be stable, etc...
