The DC-6B has a fuel capacity of 5512 gallons of 100LL, or 33,127.12 lbs.

 

The current PMDG DC-6B can carry about 4051 gallons.

 

This plane is supposed to be intercontinental?

If you spring for 10 tanks. This, as mentioned by the Intro Manual and/or POH, is the 8 tank version.

I'm guessing that was the reasoning, but I'd have to check with the team to be sure. It might also be that our study aircraft was an 8 tank version, too.
