fsx-ms Restoring default key commands

Can anyone tell me how to restore fsx back to its default key commands?

Hi,

I'm not sure but it may be possible to delete the active Standard.xml down there in the Appdata section and letting FSX rebuild it.  There is a template Standard.xml in the main FSX folder which is likely used to restore the controls to the default.  I do not know if this template was updated to reflect the default Acceleration controls but it seems likely.

Isn't there a Reset Defaults button in the Controls Settings?   Or, is that not what is asked here?

Hi Chris,

I completely forgot about that.  Hope I didn't make any unnecessary work for anyone. I used it one time in trying to reset just my joystick commands and discovered that all commands were reset.

@Chris, I had too had completely forgotten about the reset defaults button... After all these years of using FSX I just assumed it would be a convoluted process. I am programmed to expect nothing more. Got it sorted last night anyhow.
