Rio won't stay ticked in scenery library

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have P3D 3.2 and since the beginning when I installed it, the very day before they released 3.3 (went from FSX) I can't seem to get Rio to stay ticked in my scenery library.

I have almost everything Orbx, Global, Vector, the new N/A OLC, all the fat regions, three UK2000's, and two FlyTampa's.

I haven't even set my plane there yet but whenever I go to the scenery library that darned Rio in unticked even if I just ticked it and closed P3D.  When I run it again it's not ticked.

I don't know much about these things.  And I have no desire to upgrade anything P3D wise.  Anyone ever heard of such a thing as this?

Thanks,

Jack

Bet you're "ticked" off.  Couldn't help myself ... sorry.

that is kind of strange, are you running with administrator permissions? perhaps it cannot update the file correctly.

you might try editing your scenery.cfg manually and see what happens. the entry should read "Active=TRUE" . the file is usually in something like C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D\scenery.cfg

Hi Andy, yes with permissions and UAC has been off since this PC was built by Jetline.

So I went to the Scenery.cfg and it said True.

Then I ran the sim just now, P3D 3.2 and looked at the scenery library and now it's ticked! What the heck? I'll have to keep an eye on it.

Thanks for your help though.

Jack
