August 11, 20169 yr Commercial Member Hi! So I got a new ultra wide screen that is 2560 x 1080 pixels. I am using EZDOK and I wanted to get inputs on what everyone thought would be the best VC zoom level. I am currently using 0.70. Thoughts? This assumes you have WideViewAspect ON. If it's OFF, multiply the result by 2560/1080. (Make sure your calculator is set for degrees). August 11, 20169 yr Hi! Thanks I'm a nit lost here. Could you please help me a bit more? Yes, WideView is checked. Thanks! You need to measure the height of the screen (just the visible area) and how far away you sit from it. You then plug these numbers into this formula and it tells you the zoom factor. 'atan' is a trig function you will find on your calculator (if you're using the Windows 7 Calc program you need to be set to 'scientific' mode, then press 'inv' then 'tan-1' to get this function). If you are still struggling, just post the two measurements here. MarkH https://www.youtube.com/@AlmostAviation AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D / 64Gb DDR5 / Zotac RTX 5070 Ti / 2560 x 1440 display
