fuel quantity problem

Recommended Posts

Hello. I have question why FSX shows lower fuel percentage than it's actually? I was flying EDDF-OMDB with 134150 Lb of fuel and when I enter that value in FMC it showed it was 41% but in Shift+Z(I don't know what it is called) it shows 3% less value and why?

The 777, like many high-end add-on aircraft, is not a standard FSX model. PMDG uses custom programming for things like aircraft loading and fuel tanks. (Which is why you should never use the standard FSX aircraft loading menu to add passengers, cargo and fuel.)

As a result, you may see a discrepancy such as you noted. Ignore what the FSX info message shows - the quantity shown in the FMS is the one to go by.
