fsx-ms Rex 4 wont restore textures to default fsx

I am having trouble restoring my rex 4 textures to what they looked like before installing. Every time I click restore rex tells me that it has restored but when I fly in FSX I can still see the rex textures. Is there a way to get rid of the textures?

Very confusing post!  Are you trying to actually restore FSX default textures?

I want to uninstall rex 4. By doing that I have to remove the textures first. After restoring my FSX textures to what they looked like before rex I can still see rex textures installed.

 Can always do it manually by going to the folder that you have the backups and copying them back into your sim.

Where can I find the backup folder?
