Nav data out of date

Recommended Posts

So I'm getting the "Nav data out of date" message even though I'm fully up to date (as you can see from the date). Am I missing something obvious here?

Having said that, there doesn't seem to be any conflicts with waypoints or airways. I have the same AIRAC updated across the board (PFPX, ProATC and other addon aircraft) and the NGX is the only one that's giving me this message. Like I said, everything is working fine. I'm just curious as to why the message still appears when loaded.

Best regards,

What date does your sim use? If you're not using the system time and date you'll get that message.

Trust me, I've done it enough times that it actually started to stick with me.

I usually fly in daylight so if I'm simulating daylight, sometimes it's necessary to uncheck the "use system time" box. And because of work etc, I only really get to fly in the evenings so it's nearly always dark by the time I get going. Thanks again.

A search of the PMDG 737NGX forum returned 33 hits. Maybe you should use the search feature to find the answer to such a basis question. Same question two posts down from yours.

I believe you are incorrect. The system time and date has nothing to do with being out of date. As long as the sim time and date used is within the beginning date and time and ending date and time of the AIRAC cycle the message will not appear.

Well yes, that would be correct. Usually though, a lot of simmers have it set to the default time and date. So kind of like a broken clock, occasionally it will be correct. I guess I should have done a search also.

Ok, sorry boss. Won't happen again.
