No speed and FLs on ACT RTE 1 LEGS page

Recommended Posts

I am flying across the Atlantic using autopilot with SPD/LNAV/VNAV PTH commanded.

My Progress page has the ETAs and Fuel columns displaying apparently good data but they are constantly flickering at about 1.5 seconds frequency. The ACT RTE 1 LEGS page is showing all of my route legs correctly but without any speeds or altitude values displayed, except for my eventual descent path.

What is causing this abnormal behaviour?

INIT REF page improperly filled out.

Hi Kyle,

The only INIT REF page displayable currently is APPROACH REF. With the landing flaps/speed either blank or set makes no difference with my problem. To what are you then referring?

The initial data you provided. You can access this by INIT REF and then <INDEX and finally <PERF.

The APPR REF shows me landing on EGLL 09L.

I have now changed the runway from 09L to 09R and back again. This gets rid of the blinking, but I don't understand why. Unfortunately, as soon as I then select the OCK transition to 09L, the blinking returns.

Ah! The APPR REF shows me landing on EGLL 09L at 12802 ft !

I have now changed the runway from 09L to 09R and back again. This gets rid of the blinking, but still sets 09L at 12802 ft. This may mean that there is something wrong with the Navigraph data?

Have a look back at my prior post. You need the <PERF page and not the <APPROACH.

INIT REF key

LSK6L ("<INDEX")

LSK3L ("<PERF")

Richard, there is a known bug in the 777 that causes an error when selecting an OCK transition to an EGLL ILS.  Do not select the transition when selecting the ILS and you'll be fine.
