Shaders Cache Directory Not Set

Recommended Posts

Hi.

When I run the PTA Application it comes up "Where Prepar 3D shaders located?

I hit OK the PTA tool opens but then in the Log it comes up in red "Error: Shaders cache directory not set"

Where is the shaders cache location?

I hope once I select the right location there should be no ERRORS in the Log

Thanks

Hi!

Do you run PTA as administrator?

Also this situation may occurs when you just install Prepar3D, but not reboot PC yet. Try to reboot PC.

Hope it helps

Located here:

C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Shaders

Have you deleted your shader folder recently - just run P3D and it should create a new one that PTA will then auto find.
