Hi,

...testing Ed's Baku approaches with a short hop UGTB Tbilisi to UBBB Baku.

If anybody wonders, this is to land at UBBB Baku by Drzewiecki Design, enhanced with Ed's (edetroit) approaches for this airport scenery. Thanks Ed for this work!

Very convincing, chaps!  :clapping:

Lots of nice AI traffic there, too Harald.

I do suspect however that your chosen airliner might not be eligible to land at Baku: they have stringent noise controls, and ban several aircraft specifically!

I love packing my flight sim full of exotic traffic. Hope to move to p3d the end of this year and be able to activate all my custom traffic again.

Thanks guys for your comments!

As the dedicated Baku 2017 showed me, I was false on my approach attempts... However, always a good idea to visit Baku. What is a noise restriction?

Yes, Be-200 for AI traffic, Sergey Bunevich (SBAI) again...

And, of course as WingZ announced earlier, at flightsim.com.

How do you rate the Baku scenery? And is the surrounding photo textures a good quality?

My subjective opinion:

- scenery is good

- phototerrain for near surrounding (in fact the Apsheron peninsula) is not bad

- phototerrain for Eastern Caucasus is not good. I took the option not to use it.

Harald

Interesting flight as always Harald. Makes me want to pack my bag and fly there again

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

Thanks Bernd. You have been in Transcaucasia? Nice there, isn't it?
