Cockpit Window inoperable

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hi Guys,

Stuck at Cairo this afternoon and absolutely swelteringly hot.

One of those times when One wishes One could pull the trigger switch and slide back the cockpit window and feel the breeze.

Any particular reason you didn't model it?

Jim,

Unfortunately FSX has a limit on the number of animations one can create and we are right up on that limit with our models.   Also, the breeze in Cairo from what I recall wasn't all that refreshing,  so personally I just turn the Left pack on and cool down the flight deck.

Thanks Paul for clarification. I've done a bit research into this now and with that new knowledge I'd say a brilliant job was done to animate what is animated. I can more than live with the fixed window!
