Quick question about w2xp now with XP 10.50

Recommended Posts

I know that the w2xp tool will not be further developed, very sorry indeed.

Now, if I wanted to generate sceneries with the existing tool for XP 10.50 which version of w2xp and world-models should I use? I saw version numbers up to 0.9.9 but not sure which one is recommended today.

Thanks

Hans

Use the last version I uploaded to the x-plane.org (0.7.4), it still works fine with 10.50. 0.9.9 contains undocumented and missing features. Eventually I will release v1 once I have time to document stuff. It fixes a pile of problems and I used it to generate the recent Germany SD scenery

PS: As there are some combinations possible, e.g. Simheaven scenery with Simheaven world models or user made w2xp scenery with original world models, can the world models be saved in the custom scenery folder under different names? I understand that only one can be active but could they be renamed like this:

LIB_simheaven_world-models

LIB_0.7.6_world-models

LIB_0.8.0_world-models

with all being in the custom scenery folder but alway only one enabled and the other ones disabled?

Or is only one entry world-models allowed for proper operation?
