Level-D 767 AIRAC and FSUIPC

Recommended Posts

I am currently learning the Level-D 767-300ER FMC and downloaded the AIRAC from www.navdata.at as recommended from the tutorial that I downloaded from avsim.com. Can someone please tell me what this file (AIRAC) is and what it does?It also asks me to download the current version of FSUIPC module from www.schiratti.com/dowson.html. Can someone tell me what this file is and does?I know that this is probably a lot to ask, but I sure would like to know what these files are. I wonder what happens if I try the tutorial without them? Thanks,RH

I am now on page 4 of the turorial and it says copy the included file KSFOCYVR.rte to the default Level-D ... folder. My question is, where can I find this KSFOCYVR.rte file?EDIT!I figured it out. It's located in the tutorial folder. Thanks a million!RH

RHWelcome to flight simulation. The AIRAC is a set of all the valid navigation data for a duration of time. Install it as per its direction and that's it. FSUIPC is a utility program that serves as a bridge between FS9 internals and other programs. Just install it as per its directions. Dave Vega
