Undocked CDU and stutter below VSYNC

Hi everyone.

 

Been a while since i took my NGX out for a trip and as always i have my VR Insight CDUII in action as my left FMC. But tonight i had so much stutter when the FPS dropped below my main TV@30hz to 27-28 fps.

 

Since its been a while i cant recall having missed something but thought about two things

 

1. Why is PR3D always setting 1024x1280 for the CDUII when i had choosed 768x1024 in Windows? I have corrected it in P3D. CFG but it resets

 

2. Maybe the stutter has something to do with that the CDU display is not operating at 30 HZ?

 

Vsync on. Unlimited FPS

Never used the VRI CDU myself but doesn't it have a very small landscape oriented screen?

More like 800x600?

The CDU can go up to 1280x1080. But i have it at 768X1024 in Windows but at 60 HZ.

 

I dont think its related to the CDU any more. I have a lot of stutter in EDDFV2 with the Dash8 at 25fps as well. Tried deleted the shaders but not satisfied.

 

Would like to hear about fellow 4K setup when fps drop below the TV s refreshrate

Below 30FPS at 30Hz you might do better  with VSync off.
