Looking to get back into simming and just pc gaming in general how would this set up run p3d with add ons like rex,orbx,pmdg,ect...

Looks solid.

 

I have the 1070 card. It does the job well. Don't think it is worth paying the extra $$$ for a 1080.

 

Make sure you get a SSD. My Samsung 850 loads windows pretty much instantly. Once the power button is pressed the log in screen comes right up.

Err... I would be stunned if that were the case. I'm doubtful it would do that even with a Samsung 950, or an Intel 750 PCIe drive.

 

My 850 Evo takes 20 seconds. I can see no reason why your's would boot up instantly.
