Arriving Palm Springs (new settings)

Recommended Posts

I'm *trying* to warm up to HDR....  I still don't like it, so you're still going to see some image manipulation (post process) because the colors are a bit funky in the sim, I'm also trying the PTA shader tool as well.

Anyway, also trying to learn this bus again

Enjoy

Landing looked pretty good from here :cool: .... unless in that last shot you were actually fully stalled and had the wheels punch through the wings! LOL

Great shots, Ryan. How do you like "da bus" ?

Absolutely fantastic shots.

I wonder though, and this goes for all recently posted P3D galleries: The overall brightness and contrast of the sky - it is too low. The colors are on spot, but the overall image seems dimmed. What's up with that?

Thanks everyone.

I'd say depending on your monitor (or phone/tablet) the sky is too dark, especially in HDR mode.  It will take a lot of time for me to get used to it and set things how I like.

Also in these shots I'd say the color temperature (K) is far too blue.  Below is what I think it should look like.

@bernd

I don't like it lol - too automated.  I'm always thinking..."what's it doing now?"  "Why is it doing that?"  Though from what I hear in rw, the airbus is an excellent aircraft to fly.  It's just different from Boeing/MD etc etc.

So with some time (hard to have any because of my kids ha), I might like it more.  I do miss my PMDG NG in P3D.  Maybe I'll cave and buy it some day (maybe when I get a new rig)
