Will the ASUS DUAL-GTX1070-8G work with my MOBO? and does it make sense to upgrade to this MOBO from the ASUS GTX580?

 

I know that my MOBO has the PCI3express slot (two actually). 

 

I'll search the forums a bit more later, sorry if the answer is already around.

I'll answer the ? myself. Got the TURBO-GTX1070-8DDR and it works splendid with the mobo. I'm running i7-3770K on the MOBO with 16gb ddr3-1600 ram. My judgement is that I've got at least 10-20fps increase in FSX DSX9 performance. Cheers mates.
