No panel view in P3D v3.5 airbus x

Hi all,

 

I bought FS2Crew about a week ago and I'm still trying to figure out why I don't see the main panel. What's weird is that fs2crew seems to be alive as I get a pop up message in the upper left corner when I load the aircraft  saying that voice is activated. But the message disappears real quickly. What's weird is that I can then talk to ground (and ground replies...). but NO main panel to guide me into the flows.

 

I'm on P3D v3.5 with a 3 monitor configuration that otherwise works really well.

 

I've gone through all the forums on that issue and tried all the tricks that you suggested but with unfortunately nil success.

 

Anything I've missed maybe?

first of all are you referring to 3.3.5 or 3.5? because Lockheed just came out with 3.4 a couple days ago and 3.5 isnt existing so that could be you problem right there.

Post the contents of your "panel.cfg" file for the one of the Airbus models.

 

I"m guessing the problem is the panel.cfg file... I'm guessing it's not using the correct file paths for the FS2Crew gauges....

 

The FS2Crew gauges should not have any file path in P3D v3.3 or later.

 

And the FS2Crew gauge should be put in the root Gauges folder.

The panel.cfg looks good.

 

Can you open the Main Panel via the Views - Instrument panel option?

 

In P3D V3 that function has moved... it's in another one of the menus on the top of the screen whose name currently escapes me... but it's there.

Problem solved! Had set the transparency through the controls menu but it had to be set to 0 through the main menu. Working fine now. Tx to Bryan York! But that extra setting should be mentionned in the installation instructions. Still, tx for a great product!
