AS16 come with its own texrures?

Yes, And changes the textures Dynamically. You can download the AS2016 demo, good for 7 days. No demo for ASCA though. Search here too, plenty of posts

AS16 come with its own texrures?

It does not but they sell a texture replacement program that works with ActiveSky 2016 and it's called Active Sky Cloud Art. It has the ability to replace your sky and cloud textures dinamically based on weather conditions that it reads of a METAR.

However, I am very keen to know more about REX Skyforce.  That looks amazing which I hope can be coupled with AS16.

Yes, looks like users will need to have all 3 ultimately -

AS16 : As a weather engine

REX: For Textures (At least Soft Clouds)

ASCA: Dynamic changes to the textures

AS16 does not have it's own textures, it's just the weather engine. ASCA are the textures, it's a separate program
