Updated the client to V3.4

Recommended Posts

But what about the content and scenery? I have updated the client from V3.2 to V3.4, but is there any point in upgrading the content and scenery parts?

Hi Montie,

From Lockheed Martin on their 'Latest News' web page:

Prepar3D v3.3 - Release Notes

Prepar3D Content

New Features

- Added Fury drone to default selectable vehicles

- LCS-1 USS Freedom and LCS-3 USS Fort Worth can now be placed in SimDirector

Fixes and Improvements

- Fixed bug where installation was not looked up correctly on 32-bit Windows

- Fixed several default values for the IRIS T-6A Texas II SP2

- Updated several SDK samples

Prepar3D Scenery

Fixes and Improvements

- Fixed bug where installation was not looked up correctly on 32-bit Windows

Prepar3D v3.4 – Release Notes

Prepar3D Content

Fixes and Improvements

- Fixed issue with dialog action in Foul Weather scenario

- Removed unused ATC entries from The Deep scenario

- Added red and green marker smoke effects

- Added white phosphorus smoke effect

Prepar3D Scenery

Fixes and Improvements

- Updates to Twentynine Palms, Randolf AFB, and Iwakuni airports

- Fixed terrain crack and spike in northern Alaska

If there's anything in the above you feel you really need then the answer to your question would be yes. If not, then......you get the idea ;)

Edit: I would assume that the 3.4 update (Client/Content/Scenery) will contain all the component updates from previous releases.

Regards,

Mike
