Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro Joystick Problem

Recommended Posts

Hi

My MS Sidewinder Precision Pro Joystick, which has been faultless for years, has suddenly developed a problem.  Pulling the stick back pushes the nose of the aircraft down and vice-versa: pushing the stick forward causes the aircraft to pitch up.  Could someone suggest a remedy for this problem?  Thanks.

I would suspect something got changed in the pitch axis software setup -- for example, a 'reverse' box checked or unchecked, etc. If you are using a version of FSX, check your settings under Axis Controls.

Many thanks Al - that did the trick.  Ray

Ray -- glad to hear you got it fixed.

The control surface forces on my FF2 joystick quit as soon as FSX boots up. The ground bumps and gear retraction forces still work though. I've tried multiple resets, but the problem still exists. It's not a problem with windows 10, because as I said, the control surface forces work when the computer is on and FSX is not running. Any ideas? Thanks.
