This is great, the 1070 must be a monster. I am really enjoying a lot of scenery on my low end laptop even with HDR OFF (dawn / dusk only ) and can feel what visuals you must be getting with that card.

Why don't you fly a heli for scenic flights ?  There is a wonderful Hughes 500D freeware and you will really enjoy it.  I do that for Toronto using W2XP though the fps is not great but I have an awesome time following traffic :). For me the tall buildings are fps eaters but still I have loads of fun.

For Toronto there is CYYZ which is an amazing freeware again.

It is...Humpty...the best tech I have ever plopped into the rig...the best!  All sims, wide-open...yeppers......all at my locked 33, with any add-on support program running as well.  I'm done....unless something decides to 'retire'...I'm done upgrading.  A seven year old system...and it's kicking serious *ss!  :)

I'll look for CYYZ as well.  When you decide, if you do, to get a desktop...it is an EVGA 1070 FTW model...and as I am shooting these shots, the twin fans aren't even coming on....what a hoot!  63C....  The ACX 3.0 cooler on this rig is 'killa'.... ;)

I never liked the day time in XP but that is personal , the best I found is in DCS , but these shots do show it very well , are you using Ventura ?

Good daytime depiction was one of my main goals for Ventura Sky, I think it's an underrated feature, but your shots clearly show the effect!

Gotta love it. Palm trees AND sailboats! Those last four takeoff shots look like a photograph.
