Simulating wake turbelence

Recommended Posts

I just came across this video on youtube, not sure how wake turbolance is simulated in the sim or through a 3rd party plug in such as Active Sky, but this is pretty amazing and realistic.

Does anyone know who this is achieved?

I wonder if this would work if you fly behind AI aircrafts?

Did you watch the video? The answer to your question is revealed in the the first frame.

The first thing it says is Active Sky Next Wake Turbulence.

So there's your answer. Btw, AS16 which is the newer product also has wake turbulence and is adjustable in case you want to make it stronger or weaker.

The answer to your second question is revealed in the video when they fly behind AI aircraft, so yes.

That's awesome, I wasn't sure if the wake turbulence was from Active Sky or not, just wanted to confirm with others here. I never knew this even existed or was even simulated. Gonna give this a try when I get a chance.

Get AS16 since it's their newest product and will continue to be developed.
