Where are the click spots for the button version?

Recommended Posts

I am having a difficult time figuring out where the actual buttons to press to run the checklists. I am using the button version.

I have looked at the manuals, and it's not working... the click spots don't do anything. Where exactly is the secondary button spot?

The panel says BEFORE START PROC on the left display and on the right display it says RDY THANKS... i tried clicking everywhere, and nothing is happening.

But why does it work differently from the FS2Crew PMDG version? The secondary button was clickable on the panel itself, and I didn't have to assign any keyboard or joystick assignments to it. Why does it behave differently on the Airbus? It should be consistent.

Which PMDG version are you referring to?

This is the primary system used by the newer FS2Crew's, such as NGX Reboot.

Our products are always evolving, so there will be differences between the newer ones and older ones.

I am referring to the PMDG 777 version. I liked how you can just click on the main panel itself for the main/secondary button rather than having to assign them to a keyboard or joystick...

Why doesn't the Aerosoft Airbus version of FS2Crew include both Voice and Button versions in one package? I don't understand why they're seperate. For the PMDG 737 NGX and 777 package, both versions are included and it makes more sense that way to be able to have both options. Not sure why things are so different on the Aerosoft Airbus version.

One more thing, is there a way to get the panel windows to somehow "save" their location and options? Everytime I start P3D and open up the panels, the show up in their default locations. I want to be able to set the locations and save it so that it will open up at the exact location that I saved them at. Is there a way to do this?

Also on the Config Panel, it doesn't save your options. I have ASDE-X and PB Required both set to NO, but every time I restart my sim and open up the config panel, it defaults to YES. There's no way to have it save it so that you don't have to do this each and every time you reload the sim?

Each version of FS2Crew is different, they're each going to have their own nuances.

If you want to save the position of the panel window,  you'll need to manually edit the panel.cfg file.

Those options should be saved.  I'll double check it for a future update.

It makes more sense to have 1 version that will have button and voice. Because I find myself switching between the 2 quite often. For instance, when I'm flying late at night, I'll use the button version instead. Just depends on my mood. I really wish the Aerosoft Airbus version would include both. I really don't want to buy a separate package just to use the voice features. I really hope you can change this in the feature to match the other packages.
