GTN Touch v2.2.1 64-bits for X-Plane 10 / Windows 10 (updated)

Recommended Posts

I'm pleased to officially announce the anticipated update v2.2.1 to:

RXP GTN 750 Touch and RXP GTN 650 Touch:

- Designed for X-Plane 10 in 64 bits.

- Runs on Windows 10.

- compatible with XP10-32, XP9

They really are the most advanced 64 bits GPS simulation available to the flight simulation community.

And there is more! It now comes with a free bonus:

Ryan 9900BX TCAD simulation on-board!

It is Internally powered by a complete TCAS II Mark 7 simulation passing the 250 TSIM tests, and comes integrated to the RXP GTN 750 Touch and the RXP GTN 650 Touch. You can take full control of the TCAD detection shields, view nearby traffic and take actions upon visual and aural TA advisories directly on the GTN touchscreen.

Mind you, it is not just a TCAD gimmick showing up traffic nearby, it is an authentic TCAS simulation configured in TA only mode, doing the correct math and the correct alerting!

These are exciting times for X-Plane simmers and this is just the beginning: there is more to come this year!

Anyone tested this out yet?

I am pretty excited by the this development as the GTN is indispensable in Prepar3d, especially when integrated like in the A2A aircraft.

I am wondering what the integration is like in both default aircraft and some of the payware, Flyjsim for example. Also would installing the newest Garmin trainer break the F1 GTN?

Currently I am using Garmin Trainer version 5.13.0 (5130).

Will it work with the GTN Touch v2.2 64-bits for X-Plane 10?

Also will the Garmin Trainer version 5.13.0 (5130)  and the GTN Touch v2.2 64-bits work with Xplane11 (next month)?

Just to verify.
If not in the aircraft's VC panel can the RXP 750 pop-up be placed on a second monitor while using the primary monitor for XP10 (XP11 next month)?

hard to imagine they would release a product a month before xp11 and not have a contingency plan in place to upgrade to the new simulator.

I bought it, installed in, including the trainer. In all my planes I get a blank screen instead of the GTN. I guess I will reinstall everything and try again.

Did it include a link to download a Garmin Trainer?

If so, which version is it?

Can you run the Trainer by itself (no xplane10) without a problem?

Yes I installed the garmin trainer and it works ok by itself. In XP all i get is a blank window. I even tried setting the environmental variables per the manual even though I only have one installation of the trainer. I tried leaving it on while booting xplane...nothing but a blank screen.  Does anyone from RXP monitor this thread?

btw its version 6.01.1

Did RXP provide the download link for this ..... "btw its version 6.01.1" ?

Which OS are you using ?

Are you first testing with default Xplan aircraft?

Hi, the installer automatically pulls the trainer from the correct location and save a copy on your drive. The next time you install, it detects the local copy and saves you downloading again.

As for the error, we are investigating about this. In order to better help us, can you please post your  Windows version, and the content of the rxpGtnSim.dll.log and rxpGTN.xpl.log files in your "My Documents" folder?

The plugin seems to be calling the 32 bit dll, rather than the 64 bit one. Has anyone gotten this to work in xp10 64 bit?
